I found Arcoiris marshmallow cookies in the Mexican foods aisle at Kroger. The box shows a crazed kid dressed up as a superhero with pink underpants on his head reaching for one of the cookies. After seeing that there was pretty much no way I could leave the store without buying them.
They are a lot smaller than I thought they were going to be – but you get a TON. There are six of those sleeves of cookies – each sleeve two cookies high, giving you almost 50 cookies per box.
Pink underpants in place (on my head) – ready to taste. These guys are super-sweet, and mildly coconutty – sort of like the outside of a Hostess Sno-ball in flavor (but not in texture). The cookie part is soft and sort of shortbread-esque.
In conclusion: super-sweet but tasty. Won't be a staple grocery item, but I could possibly want to buy them again.
